The exhibition as a family of artists involved how we are related to each other in this world, the space we inhabit in relatiohship to each other and the environment, and the synchronous events that connected us. Multimedia, multigenerational, multicultural, and multispatial We Are Family appealed to a pluriversal world. Artists featured alongside paintings by Jane L Dulay were her sons: digital media artist Jono Dulay Brandel and photographer/musician JoJo Dulay Brandel; her niece Elisa Jennifer Dulay Hough, Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage editor, web manager, doodler and mapmaker and her partner: documentary filmmaker, Kyle Baker; Sunny Oh, multidisciplinary designer in exhibition, graphic and industrial design; graphic designer and creative coder Yuin Chien; zine, graphic designer and witch Helen Shewolf Tseng; photographer Hasain Rasheed; and nomadic filipina chef Yana Gilbuena.
